Do your own fundraising

Create your own event - get baking, quizzing, running round the back garden and disco dancing so together we can help improve healthcare.

Whenever you like!

Get fundraising for us by skipping, baking, organising a comedy night, quizzing and enjoying afternoon tea. Your fundraising, your way.

Running a marathon or swimming the Channel are amazing ways to fundraise for us, but there are plenty more ways to get involved. Get your thinking caps on and set up your own fundraising event – we’ll help you every step (or 10,000 steps) of the way.

Setting up your event

Creating your own fundraising challenge or event is simple. All you need to do is:

  • register your event – click the button below to tell us the details
  • create a JustGiving page so people can make donations
  • enjoy your event – don’t forget to take lots of photos to share with us
  • pay in all the money you’ve raised
  • say thanks to your supporters and start planning the next one!

Raising funds from your sofa

Fundraising at home can mean cooking and inviting friends round for a mystery tasting menu. It can mean organising an online movie quiz and doing battle in the ultimate board games night or even sponsoring the kids to do the housework. Everyone’s a winner!

Whatever you want to do, we’re here to help you fundraise for Guy’s and St Thomas’. Whether that’s from your kitchen table, back garden, spare bedroom or sofa.

Exercising and fundraising

You can do anything from skipping contests to walking 10,000 steps a day. Try running or even creating a neighbourhood version of Crufts – get active and create your own exercise challenge.

Recruit your loved ones, colleagues, family members and furry friends to help you get fit while you fundraise. Every penny will help us stay one step ahead.

Socialising and raising money

Why not try putting your party planning skills to good use and organising an event for a good cause. It can be disco dancing or a comedy night; all the while raising money and feeling good while doing good.

You could also organise a golfing day or afternoon ‘tee’, put your heads together for a pub quiz or ask for donations instead of birthday presents. There’s really no wrong way to fundraise.
