Why not challenge yourself to jump out of a plane and get sponsored? You could invite family and friends to a celebratory picnic afterwards.

Explore your local area
Set yourself a walking challenge to explore your local area. Take pictures along the way to share with sponsors.

Wimbledon
Bring friends and family together to watch the final. Serve strawberries and cream, organise a sweepstake or even hold your own tennis tournament.

BBQ dinner
Invite your friends and family over for a sizzling summer BBQ. Ask for a small donation to indulge in a set BBQ menu.

Lemonade stall 
Organise a lemonade stall, where every refreshing glass supports your fundraising. Why not combine it with a bake sale to raise even more?

Diwali
Celebrate the festival of light with a firework display. Serve up some fabulous food and hold a raffle or collection on the night.

Oktoberfest
Host an Oktoberfest-themed event with traditional German food, music and beer. Raise funds from ticket sales, donations and other fundraising activities.

Halloween
Organise a fancy dress party with a Halloween theme and provide some spooky treats. You could even make it a Halloween bake off.

Soup lunch
Cook up a large batch of soup, take it to work and ask for a donation per bowl. You could use leftover Halloween pumpkins.

Guy Fawkes Night
Remember, remember the 5th November! Time for a night of sparklers and fireworks. Contact your local firework display and ask them to donate the proceeds of tickets sales to Guy’s & St Thomas’ Charity or hold your own display, provide some tasty treats and suggest a donation for your hospitality.

Santa dash or elf run
Organise a fun run or find an organised event, dress up and collect entry fees or sponsorship.

Christmas fair and gift wrapping
Host a Christmas-themed fair and charge for stalls or admission. Offer to wrap gifts for a donation.

Carol singing
Organise a carol singing event in a public place or in your local area and collect donations from passersby.

Festive movie marathon
Host a movie marathon of Christmas films and ask for donations.

New Year’s Eve or Chinese New Year
Organise a party to celebrate the new year and invite family and friends. Or make a resolution to give up something or get active to start your year off well.

Quiz or bingo night
Ask a local venue if you can use the space to hold a quiz or bingo night for free or at a reduced rate. Then sell tickets for your event.

Sip and paint
Buy some paints and refreshments and invite friends to take part in an art evening. Ask for a donation towards your fundraising.
