After falling seriously ill at home, Dioma had to have an emergency operation and spent over 6 weeks in intensive care at Guy’s and St Thomas’. The team there treated her with the utmost dignity, respect and kindness, and helped to get her through the worst days.

Saying thank you for life-saving care

“Throughout this rollercoaster journey, the staff at Guy’s and St Thomas’ were exceptional. Their capacity to care, provide hope, encourage and support not only Tegid, but myself and his family, was phenomenal.” Tania can’t thank the team who cared for her husband enough, after he became seriously ill and developed septic shock on New Year’s Eve 2022.
