How we score applications

We carefully review your answers to three key questions:

  1. How much do you realistically aim to fundraise? Our minimum ask is £2,500 but we are always looking for ambitious fundraisers with ambitious targets.
  2. What creative, fun and engaging fundraising methods will you use to get there?
  3. Why does running for this charity matter to you? Tell us your story — whether it’s a personal connection, a life-changing experience, or someone you’ll be thinking of on race day.

We prioritise applicants who show passion, commitment, a strong fundraising plan, and a clear link to the cause.

Fundraising expectations:

  • All charity place runners commit to raising at least £2,500
  • Raise £500 by 31 October to stay on track
  • Full support is provided: a fundraising hub, WhatsApp group, training via Coopah, exclusive rewards, and personalised guidance
  • If you’re successful, your £50 fee is no longer refundable. If not selected, it will be returned to your original payment method
