Innovative technology is enabling our doctors to monitor patient healing after surgery, without the need for hospital visits.
We supported the dynamic Guy’s and St Thomas’ teams to pioneer new approaches to monitor patients healing after surgery. Through Isla, a visual medical record platform, the doctors are now able to review patients’ wounds following surgery. They are also able to capture data and submit straight to the platform which helps support post-operative care.
Patients can get wound care advice and share images and information with their doctor via the secure online platform. This reduces unnecessary hospital appointments and helps ensure any issues or infections are found quickly.
