Become a Charity Champion
Join us as a Charity Champion at Guy’s and St Thomas’. You can help us raise awareness, inspire others, and make a difference in the lives of patients and families.
What is a Charity Champion?
A Charity Champion gives staff members at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust an opportunity to help spread the word about our charity. By becoming a Charity Champion, you’ll be promoting the work we do, encouraging more supporters to get involved and helping bring brilliant ideas to life about how to advance exceptional healthcare for patients and families.
Your role as a Charity Champion will have a significant impact on the support we provide, helping us continue to fund life-changing projects and services for patients and families.
What’s involved in the role of Charity Champion?
- Be the go-to charity representative in your team, such as advising them where to find information on dealing with donations or access to funding
- Promoting the exceptional work being done across the hospitals by finding case studies or quotes where charity funding has made a difference – these may be used in newspapers, magazines, radio and TV programmes
- Helping with onsite events, such as hospital tours for donors, or at fundraising events, including manning information stalls to promote the charity
- Spreading the word about fundraising challenges and events, and any successful charity-funded projects
