FAQ’s – London Landmarks Half Marathon 2023

The London Landmarks Half Marathon 2023 will take place on Sunday 2 April.

The registration fee is £25.

We ask charity place runners to raise a minimum of £350. 

There is no minimum fundraising target for ballot place runners, we only ask you to raise what you can.

All of our runners receive:

• Fundraising tips, advice and materials and helpful information on nutrition and training.   
• A dedicated events team to answer any questions and support you every step of the way.   
• An invitation to our training evening on Thursday 9 February. 
• A personalised Guy’s & St Thomas’ Charity dri-fit running t-shirt. 
• Enthusiastic race-day support. 
• The rewarding feeling of knowing you’re helping keep Guy’s and St Thomas’ one step ahead, for patients and staff.

Your Guy’s & St Thomas’ Charity running t-shirt will be posted to you a month before the race.

If you can no longer take part in the event, please let us know as soon as possible by emailing events@gsttcharity.org.uk.

The money you raise will help Guy’s and St Thomas’ go further for patients and staff, beyond what the NHS can provide – funding groundbreaking research, pioneering equipment, uplifting spaces, and a comprehensive staff wellbeing programme.

100% of the money we receive supports the work of Guy’s and St Thomas’, as our fundraising and administrative costs are covered by the endowment of Guy’s & St Thomas’ Foundation.

Runners will head off in waves –the first will go around 9.20am and the last around 10.40am. Runners will be updated closer to race day.

We will be hosting a training evening on Thursday 9 February where you can meet other runners, get advice on training and fundraising, and hear the difference your fundraising makes. 

Our partners at King’s Sport & Wellness will be delivering an interactive and engaging workshop based around nutritional advice to support with your training and recovery, as well as providing you with training plans and guidance to best prepare for the upcoming running challenge. There will be members of the team on hand to chat through specific exercises to incorporate into your daily routines based around injury prevention and physiotherapy to ensure you are feeling the best you can prior to the race.  

Our team will be offering top tips and advice on how to boost your fundraising with two months to go, and you will also have the chance to meet hospital staff and hear their experiences, and how your fundraising makes a huge difference.
